Ron Arndt

Ron “DynaMo Thumb” Arndt was an original member of the Air Aces, who dominated the Guts scene during the mid 1970’s. He played later with Mr. Naturals and finally, the Motor City Guts team. Arndt’s teams won 3 IFTs and the U of M Indoor Frisbee Festival and US Nationals each twice. He made famous the long running wind up of his thumber throw and was an outstanding end man on the defensive side of the game. Arndt was a founding member of the Guts Players Association and served as Tournament Director of the Air Aces Open.
