Nancy “B” (Demers) George

Nancy “B” was one of the most dominating women ever to play the game of Guts. With the Redford Ringrays and the Detroit Dolls, she played in the finals of 11 tournaments and won them all, including 4 IFTs, 3 GPA World Championships, 2 U of M Indoor Frisbee Festivals, and 1 US Nationals. She was voted MVP at the GPA World Championship in 1979 and 1981. “B” was known for her awesome backhand throw and tremendous defensive play. Nancy was also actively involved in the development of the game. “B” was a founding member of the Guts Players Association and served as Editor of the GPA Newsletter.
