Welcome to the 50th IFT Anniversary Tournament website!

Top players from teams of the past six decades will gather once again to compete in the greatest of all games – Guts Frisbee – at the IFT, THE first Frisbee tournament. Invented by the Healy brothers in 1958, Guts has been contested annually on the Keweenaw, the birthplace of Guts, in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, in what is known as the International Frisbee Tournament. The Healy’s and their friends won the IFT each of the first ten years. Which team will be the ONE this year to drink from the famed Julius T. Nachazel Cup?

Meet old and new friends, drink a beer with rivals and a legend or two, lace up the cleats and toe the line! Got GUTS? It’s the 50th IFT!

Our plans are just coming into focus so check back here for regular updates.

If you are planning to attend, we would like to list your name on this website so that others will get equally excited about this historic event. Only your name and possible team name will be listed; no contact information will be displayed. So, if you are coming and we can list your name, please contact Steve Taylor via email.
